About

To read some of my work, please go here.

I’m an award-winning journalist covering sustainability and human rights. I have experience writing news and investigations, as well as carrying out investigative research projects for NGOs.

I’ve written for the Guardian, the Observer, Al Jazeera, openDemocracy, Liberty Investigates, the New Statesman, the European Council on Foreign Relations, Euractiv, the New European, New Indian Express and Huck Magazine, among others. I won a Modern Slavery Day media award in 2018 for an investigation into human trafficking in London.

I am an experienced court reporter and have had staff roles covering offshore finance, corporate structures, asset recovery and tech, requiring extensive international reporting. I also have experience in collaborative investigations, and was a founding partner on the Signals Network, which was designed to support whistleblowers and international collaboration between newsrooms.

I have a Masters in Human Rights Law from the University of Edinburgh, where I worked on the Political Settlements Research Programme, looking at how to uphold the rights of minoritised communites in peace processes.
